Voting Attendees: Corrie Barrett, Megan Olson, Kim Allen, Ann Odom, Mitch Evers, Kimball High, Caroline Butters, Kathy Smith, Katie Dunn, Hadley Waters, Jamie Dowdle, Jessica Pohlman Nonvoting Attendees: Heidi Vincent, Dominic Hunter, Liz Palmer, Ashley Moehle, Chrislyn Woolston
- Welcome: Megan Olson
- Review and approve April 2025 minutes: Megan Olson
- Motion: Megan Olson, 2nd: Caroline Butters, Motion Carries
- 2025-26 School Staffing/FTE plans: Corrie Barrett
- Two new teachers: Mrs. Grinceri (2nd) & Mrs. Hambly (3rd)
- Mrs. Hambly is a UVU intern who excelled in her program and qualified for a year long internship instead of student teaching.
- She will have a district mentor and be supported by Heidi Vincent and UVU professors

- Losing a reading aide, a math aide, a paraprofessional, Mrs.Erow, Mrs. Nisbett, & Mrs Goebel
- New Hires: Brenda Weight, (math aide), Lezlie White (Hands on Science)
- Still need a library IT to support Gail Coleman (11/hrs a week)
- Two new teachers: Mrs. Grinceri (2nd) & Mrs. Hambly (3rd)
- SCC Financial update
- Landtrust on track
- Will cary over about $2500.00
- Cell Tower on track
- We will recieve funds ($5,000-$8,000) from T-Mobile for the next five years- will find out in June
- School Fundraiser: On Track
- TSSP: on Track
- Moved BLT leadership team subs and Cindy Wallace salary to TSSP
5. School Safety Report
- Our SCC didn’t report any safety concerns this year
6. SCC 2025/26 Election Info
- Seven People declared candidacy so far (have until 2:00 today to submit form), only five available spots
- Online election next week
- every parent will recieve an online ballot link from the district.
- Emlpoyee members: Corrie Barrett, Caroline Butters, Abby Wilcox, Dominic Hunter
- Need at least six parent members in attendance to have a valid vote (two more than school employee)
- Can a parent who is emplyed by the school still be on SCC as a parent?
- Yes, if they work less tha 24 hours a month on average
- if it is morre they can be on SCC as an employee member
- Review SCC dates for next year

- Have reviewed teacher grants and approved about $4,000 worth of grants
- Resources for desks, headphones, tote trays,reading incentives for Beanstack, creating a wellness roomsupervised by Mr. Johnny (sensory and calming activities)
- Planning tom update the learning garden

- Have heard from theplant person- he must approve all plants
