- No, but teachers can review induvidual students’ history

- Digital Citizenship Plan
- Ms. Rotermund is the digital citizenship coordinator- she trains the staff
- Does the SCC feel it has recieved enough information to determine if the filtering systems and supervision practices are appropriate?
- Does the SCC feel it has recieved enough information about the school’s educational efforts to instill in students the desire to be a good digital citizen?
- Does the SCC believe the school has a viable plan to present important internet safety and digital citizenship information to parents in the community?

- Safe Walking Routes
- Paint crosswalks for kids living on the east side of Willow Creek Dr. for the benefit of kids who live in Willow Creek Circle. There are no posted signs or paths to cross the 3 way stop.
- Paint a crosswalk at the Alta Canyon and Bridger Blvd three way stop where kids cross the street walking and on bikes.
- Do we want dedicated right and left turn lanes at our parking lot exit (follow up from last year)
- Chrislyn Woolston: It is haard to see because it is on the hill
- Consensus is that it isn’t necessary or helpful

- Liz Palmer: What is reading Plus and why do we use it?
- Heidi Vincent: Lexia helps teaching basic phonics skills and reading plus is an extension for kids who need more challenge and support than just Lexia
- We’ve chosen it because it is more cost efficient for reaching more students vs. hiring additional reading interventionists

- Jessica Pohlman: Would you like to see the students progress on one graph vs. graphs per grade
- Monica Rotermund: teachers take deep dives into induvidual students and know their data
- Jessica Pohlman: It’s probably more helpful to look at the fall to spring changes to note progress.
- Liz Palmer: It looks like 5th grade had some very low scores in previous years? Why?
- Heidi Vincent: 2022-2024 had a different test called reading inventory, so the data we had those years is just from struggling students, not all students as a whole.
- Jessica Pohlman: Would you like to see the students progress on one graph vs. graphs per grade
- Financial Update: software has been down so things haven’t been updated since last month.

- in the past, student council has done birthday treats for every student in the school but it wasn’t happening at the beginning of the year. They decided to resume it and add it to the budget.
- They also added t-shirts for Student Council
- Jessica Pohlman: If we need to cut the budget, that might be a place to cut because it is a smaller group of kids receiving a larger sum of money.
- Corrie Barrett: The cost of attending the leadership conference went up because there are more students on Student Council this year.
- Heidi Vincent: The Student Council does influence the culture of the school and it is a valuable place to spend money.

- No, the school prefers them to happen in the fall and the spring

- Update from Albion: Megan Olson
- Albion is the most affected school by the boundry change
- The proposed change will include all Brookwood students moving to Albion. We should contact our school board to let them know we want that to happen.
- Students who are currently in the Butler Boundries still need to apply for a permit to attend Albion.
